5. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise an applicable privacy right, submit a request using the contact method below:

Email: privacy@lasvegasfilmfestival.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request."

Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records and verify your request. We may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect personal information from unauthorized access or deletion.

You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We may require proof that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf and may separately verify your identity or authority.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. For example, the CCPA generally requires a response to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days, subject to a permitted extension. Opting Out of Sale, Sharing, or Targeted Advertising

Where required by applicable law, you may opt out by contacting us as described above. We also honor legally required browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control ("GPC"), when the signal applies to the browser or device interacting with our Service and applicable law requires recognition of that signal.

Limiting Use of Sensitive Personal Information

Where this right applies, you may submit a request using the method above. Las Vegas Film Festival generally uses sensitive personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide requested services, process transactions, maintain security, comply with law, or perform other purposes permitted without a right to limit.

6. Retention of Personal Information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including operating the Festival and Service, administering submissions and transactions, maintaining appropriate business and festival records, complying with legal, tax, accounting, contractual, or regulatory obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, de-identify, or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law.

7. Non-Discrimination

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you because you exercised an applicable privacy right. For example, where prohibited by law, we will not deny services, charge a different price, or provide a different level or quality of service solely because you exercised a privacy right.

Categories of Third Parties: Depending on the interaction, personal information may be disclosed to service providers, contractors, submission platforms, ticketing or payment providers, analytics or technology providers, event and venue partners, professional advisers, and other parties described in this disclosure or our Privacy Policy.

Sensitive Personal Information: Las Vegas Film Festival does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit unless otherwise disclosed.
