The Las Vegas Film Festival invites filmmakers and creators from around the world to submit their work for our January 14–21, 2027 Festival in Las Vegas.

From feature films, documentaries and shorts to television, vertical storytelling, video podcasts, music videos and emerging creator formats.

Official Selections join a curated program of more than 350 films, screenings, premieres, filmmaker appearances and special events, with Festival programming centered at Brenden Theatres at the Palms Casino Resort.

Feature Films & Documentaries
U.S. and international narrative features, documentaries, animation, comedy, drama, horror, thriller, action, sci-fi and other genres.

Short Films
Narrative, documentary, animation, genre, student and micro-short filmmaking from the United States and around the world.

Television & Episodic Projects
Television, web and episodic projects, including comedy, drama and documentary series.

New Media & Creator Content
Vertical narratives, social-media storytelling, visual art, experimental work and other emerging screen formats.

Video Podcasts
Fiction, non-fiction, interview and talk-show programs, limited series, companion programs and experimental video podcasts.

Music Videos
Original music driven visual works that bring together filmmaking, performance, and storytelling.

Las Vegas & Nevada Film
Dedicated categories recognizing Las Vegas filmmakers, Las Vegas productions and filmmaking from across the Silver State.

AWARDS & DISTRIBUTION

Selected projects compete across the Festival’s feature, documentary, short film, television, music video, new media, audience and regional award programs.

Four Grand Prize Distribution Awards valued at up to $25,000 each include theatrical exhibition and distribution opportunities.

The Festival will also award more than $10,000 in cash prizes across selected competition categories.
