Las Vegas Film Festival Names Promoter and Producer Tom Ingram as Festival Director
LAS VEGAS, NV: The Las Vegas Film Festival today announced that veteran event producer and promoter Tom Ingram will lead its upcoming edition as Festival Director, ahead of its run from January 14–21, 2027.
Ingram brings substantial local operational experience and an established international track record. A fixture in the Las Vegas and Southern Nevada entertainment landscape for nearly three decades, Ingram is one of the few independent promoters to continuously hold event licensing across both Clark County and the City of Las Vegas for over 20 years. His background provides the festival with a stable foundation for executing its city-wide footprint.
Over a forty-year career, Ingram has focused on creating long-running cultural events. He is the founder of the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, the longest-running music festival in Las Vegas history which has drawn over one million visitors to the region over three decades. His contributions to the local tourism and entertainment economy were recognized by the Mayor and City of Las Vegas when he was presented with the Key to the City of Las Vegas.
Ingram’s background in cinema began with his appearance in The Who’s film Quadrophenia, leading to a career spanning, directing, and large-scale promoter across the United Kingdom, Southern California, and almost 30 years in Las Vegas. His production portfolio includes managing Viva Las Vegas, major UK music events, such as the Hemsby Rock 'n' Roll Weekend and numerous other festival stages.
Tom Ingram, a veteran promoter with nearly 30 years of Las Vegas event experience, has been named Festival Director for the 2027 Las Vegas Film Festival. The film producer and Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend founder who received a Key to the City, brings an extensive history of Las Vegas promotion, cinema expertise, and large-scale production to the January event.
As Festival Director, Ingram will oversee film programming, industry relations, filmmaker engagement, and special events.
“Tom has spent his career building events that people travel across the world to experience,” said Executive Director Louie Comella. “His practical experience and 3 decades in Las Vegas entertainment make him uniquely qualified to direct the Festival. We are glad to welcome him to the Las Vegas Film Festival as we build a world-class cinema event.”
With Tom Ingram onboard, the Las Vegas Film Festival enters its upcoming cycle with an event producer who bridges the worlds of film, music, and large-scale live entertainment.
